Position Objectives:


**Must have expereince planning mechanical equipment in a Refinery or Petro Chemicial facility utilizing SAP
The deliverables for this position are development of detailed plans, cost estimates, job packages, and job steps for TA Work Items (including expense & capital projects).  This position includes contacting and working with 3rd party contractors,  Execution, warehousing, engineering, technical, and procurement.  Job requires knowledge for planning TA Work activities and development of job steps to develop an integrated schedule.

Required to input plans in SAP


  •    Develops and implements detailed plans with safety as the number one priority
  • Field Job Package Development

  • Job Step Development for Planning and Scheduling

  • Bill of Material Development

  • Determine logic, estimate resources (including indirect/direct manpower, materials, equipment, and special tools) (Capital & Expense).

  • Assist in the development of JLA'S and lift plans.

  • Work with 3rd Party Contractors on planning clarifications, job scope, and estimate development.

  • Work with Execution, Engineering, Technical, Procurement, and Warehousing to develop detailed job plans and resolve issues with scope.

  • Work with schedulers and development of scheduled plans using electronic turnaround software (Primavera),

  • Work with Lead TA Planner to develop the Budgetary and Control Estimate.

  • Generate complete work scopes and develop knowledge, skills and scope familiarity for the turnaround team.

  • Coordinate with the Material Expediter the acquisition of equipment and materials to assure timely delivery at the lowest cost.

  • Prepare for internal and participate in external Turnaround Reviews (TR’S)

  • Maintain plan with Lead Planners/Schedulers during TA Execution and update Field Contractors on changes to scope/plan as changes occur.

  • Perform field surveys of completed scope to determine/audit job progress.
