Location: Multiple Sites (Texas & Arkansas) This person will be establishing and standardizing the Schedule premise and reporting.
Immediate need for Turnaround Scheduler with 10 + years of Refinery TA Experience
Minimum of 10 Years Scheduling Turnarounds within Refineries utilizing Primavera
Must be able to Schedule and progress Multiple Primavera 6 schedules for multiple TA’s
Must be able to perform complex reporting from Primavera 6 schedules utilizing excel
Minimum of 5 years as a Planner for refinery Turnarounds
Overall responsibility for the project or turnaround work plan and schedule development and updating. In particular, position is accountable for:
§ Primavera 6 knowledge essential
§ Oversee as the owners representative
§ Oversees other Schedulers and takes a lead role with Schedulers
§ Schedules multiple engineering and Turnaround Schedules as an Owners rep
§ Responsible for setting up and maintaining the EPS, WBS in Primavera 5.0 or 6
§ Establishes processes, practices & tools to effectively execute projects and Turnarounds
§ Works interactively with project team members to accurately maintain & update Schedules
§ Reporting from Schedules via Three part S-Curves, histograms, etc. for the Project
§ Plans and achieves work in a logical, systematic, and cost effective ways
§ Collaborates with others to accomplish goals.
§ Supports team decisions
§ Broad experience in maintenance and construction practices
§ Extensive understanding of turnaround execution processes
§ Develop planning milestones
Able to field plan equipment and estimate man-hours, create material requisitions, develop contractor packages
Defines contractor strategy, create project WBS,
Makes logical ties of work steps
Determines Critical Path and levels schedule to obtain a optimized work schedule
Determines field progress and input’s actual
Enter job plan details, i.e., activity description, duration, craft and hours, equipment and materials required relationship of activity to other activities.
Develop fragnets for job plans.
Determine activity relationships and create logical ties.
Develop critical path and analyze for logic discrepancies.
Produce logic diagrams and summary bar charts.
Produce daily shift schedules at the activity level.
Produce 1 day and 3 day look ahead schedules.
Report progress by area and overall on a daily and shift basis.
ü Maintain master schedule of project or turnaround.
ü Maintain scheduling software and ensure latest release is loaded.
ü Maintain knowledge of current scheduling techniques and systems.
ü Ensure competency of others in use of scheduling tools.
ü Set up and maintain change order files
