Overview
We are seeking an AI SaaS Engineer to develop, maintain, and extend the STOlogix suite of SaaS products (STOplanner, STOcost, STOcomm) — and to build AI capabilities directly into them. This is hands-on SaaS software development: keeping our existing, live products stable and evolving, shipping new features, and embedding AI into the product itself, from AI-assisted KPIs and reporting to LLM-powered features. This is also a lead role: you will help bring STOlogix development in-house, own the transition from our current offshore team, and set the workflow and standards the group runs on. We move fast with AI-powered tools and value throughput, sound judgment, and careful validation.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance the STOlogix SaaS suite (STOplanner, STOcost, STOcomm) across the stack
  • Keep the existing, live products stable — bug fixes, performance, reliability, and technical debt
  • Build AI capabilities into the products: AI-assisted KPIs and reporting, and LLM-powered features within the SaaS itself
  • Ship new features end to end, from requirements through deployment
  • Integrate with STOlogix data via API to power reports, KPIs, and in-product insights
  • Lead the transition of STOlogix development in-house, including structured knowledge transfer from the current offshore team
  • Establish and own the in-house development workflow, code-review standards, and delivery metrics
  • Own maintenance and troubleshooting of the STOlogix suite, including user training and support ticket resolution
  • Help hire, mentor, and direct additional developers as the team grows
  • Coordinate with the current offshore team through the transition period
Required Skills
  • Full-stack SaaS development — building and maintaining production web applications
  • Proficiency in a modern web stack (e.g., React / TypeScript front-end, REST APIs, SQL databases)
  • Experience maintaining and evolving already-built SaaS products, not just greenfield builds
  • Hands-on experience incorporating AI / LLMs into software products (model APIs, prompt design, AI-assisted features)
  • Strong SQL and experience integrating with API-based data sources
  • Hands-on, day-to-day use of AI coding tools to generate and refine code
  • Ability to own delivery, set engineering standards, and communicate across technical and business teams
  • Strong data validation and problem-solving skills
Experience & Education
  • 3–8+ years in SaaS / software engineering roles, including maintaining production applications
  • Demonstrated experience building AI / LLM-powered features into products
  • Experience leading delivery or owning a codebase — ideally through a team or vendor transition
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
